Below are individuals and organizations who have generously given us their valuable time, energy, resources and money. We cannot thank you enough and would like to say that out loud, right here.

  • Thank you to the Woman's Club of Chatham for your generous donation which made it possible for the Society to purchase the Green Village historic marker.

  • Thank you to the Chatham Township Department of Public Works for ALL your support and hard work in and around the Red Brick Schoolhouse. Visit the Chatham Township Public Works website.

  • Thank you to Chatham Township for your ongoing support of our organization and for your very generous support of the Historical Marker Project. Visit the Chatham Township  website.

  • Thank you to Don Engesser and Nancy Howie for your leadership and for sheparding our organization forward. Additionally, Don secured annual funding from Exxon for the Historical Society for over a decade and Nancy had the vision to usher us into the digital age.

  • Thank you to the Art League of the Chathams - Painters: Jo Powers, Lee Hinderliter, Kathleen Havens and Shirley Turnbull for painting our very beautiful mural that walks us all up our staircase. We have benefited from that lovely work since its creation in 1992. Our visitors always remark on its beauty and invariably ask questions about the mural and learn about Chatham's history.
